Where do you get your stuff?

We get our goods from so many sources: flea markets, swap meets, re-sale shops, thrift and yard sales. Additionally, there are a few of us in the Ruby Crew that bring in inventory: one loves the yard sales and thrifts, one loves the thrifts and swap, and I love roadtrippin' to flea markets and finding new places along the way. 

Where are you located? 

1235 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401–in the MOJO district (at the corner of Monterey and Johnson).

How long have you been at this location?

We just moved from 1335 Walker Street to this new space in June 2014!

I'm a photographer/stylist, can I rent props from you?

We are open to having a conversation, and done on a case-by-case basis depending on the items, how long, time of year, etc. Please contact us with your idea and shoot dates.

Can I sell/trade clothing/items with you?

We do not work on consignment or buy items from individuals, but here are several places in the city of San Luis Obispo who do:
Curio (women’s clothing)
Zoe’s Consignment (furniture, home accessories, art, & unique jewelry)
SLO Consignment (furniture)
Change of A Dress (women’s clothing and accessories)
Finder’s Keepers (women's designer clothing, handbags, & accessories)

But I have all this amazing stuff in my garage, can I send you pictures? 

If you have several estate items you are looking to sell, send us photos of individual items and their prices via email, like you would on a Craigslist post. Ruby Rose does not set prices for items we buy, they must already be priced.

Can I host a pop-up? 

Absolutely, we love supporting artists and tradespeople, and often host pop-ups during our business hours. We have had a few successful collaborations, we are always willing to help the start up biz or give a spot to introduce a product. Of course, this depends on many variables, we suggest you contact us with (a) your vision for the pop-up, (b) the date(s) you are wanting to do it, (c) how you plan to promote the pop-up, and (d) request an appointment to have a meeting with us in person.

Can I host Ruby Rose? 

Yes! Ruby Rose also does their own pop-up shop! If you are interested in hosting us, please contact us and let us know the type of event, whether you are a business or individual, where you are located, and the date(s) you would like us to come. We look forward to collaborating with you!
